Foreign tourists were reading the Yichang Retreat inscription in front of Yichang Retreat Memorial Square sculpture on August 17.

According to the statistics of the department of Binjiang Park, during the 8 years after the build of Yichang Retreat Memorial Square, a total of one million people visited here and presented bouquets and flower baskets to the sculpture, to comfort these heroic martyrs in the Resistance war Against Japanese Fascist and victims in Yichang Retreat.  (Reporter: Liu Baoping)
