A video and telephone conference of provincial, municipal and county levels was held this week, by the Provincial Party Committee and provincial government in order to promote the construction of advanced network of whole province. During the conference, several goals were set including ensure the Wi-Fi coverage of the urban city of Wuhan, the center of Hubei, and Yichang and Xiangyang the two sub-centers of Hubei in 2016; Fiber Optic Network coverage of all urban families of Hubei province in 2017; all administrative villages in the province connect to broadband with 8 megabytes access capability by the end of 2016; all connect to Fiber Optic Network with 20 megabytes access capability by the end of 2017.
