The opening ceremony focused on the national red trips held in Yaojiashan Red Tourist Attraction, Huangpo district, Wuhan on the morning of August 31. Yaojiashan is known for its historical sites linked to the 5th Division of the New Fourth Army. The theme of this activity was “Remember the History while Fulfill the Chinese Dream”.

The Tourism Bureau released four red trip routes in Hubei province on the ceremony. They are Wuhan to Xianning, Suizhou to Xiangyang, Jingzhou to Yichang and Enshi, and Xiaogan to Huanggang.

The main red attractions in Wuhan to Xianning routes include Zhongshanjian Museum in Jiangxia District of Wuhan, Wuhan Office of the Eighth Route Army, Yaojiashan Red Tourist Attraction in Huangpo District of Wuhan ( Site of the 5th Division of the New Fourth Army), and Tianyueguan Historic Sites in Tongcheng County of Xianning.

The main red attractions in Suizhou to Xiangyang route include Sites of the 5th Division of the New Fourth Army in Zengdu District of Suizhou, Zhang Zizhong Memorial Hall in Yicheng of Xiangyang, and Li Zongren Memorial Hall in Laohekou of Xiangyang.

The main red attractions in Jingzhou to Yichang and Enshi route include Red Attractions of West Hunan and Hubei in Jingzhou, Commemorative Garden for Great Retreat from Yichang, Shipai Attractions in Yichang, and Manshanhong Commemorative Garden in Hefeng County of Enshi.

The main red attractions in Xiaogan to Huanggang route include Revolutionary Martyr Cemetery of Hubei and Henan in Dawu County of Xianggan, Revolutionary Martyr Cemetery of Hubei, Henan, Anhui, and Jiangsu in Hong’an County of Huanggang, and Revolutionary Martyr Cemetery in Macheng of Huanggang.
