From Dec.3rd to Dec.5th, there came China 3-day holiday of commemorating 70th anniversary of the victories of War of Chinese People\'s Resistance Against Japan and the world Anti-Fascism war. It was learnt from Municipal Tourism Bureau, abundant tourism activities such as folk customs tour, country tour, leisure tour and other activities were held all around Yichang to attract tourists during the holiday. Moreover, the Red Tourism which tallied with the special holiday became the new highlight and the new theme.

　　According to the statistics, there were 8 scenic spots listed into the scope of statistics such as the Three Gorge Dam Area Tour Site, Tribe of the Three Gorges Tour Site, Qingjiang River Gallery Tour and Holiday Site, the Quyuan Memorial Temple Cultural Tour Site, Chexi (Waterwheels River) Folk Custom Tour Site, Xiling Gorge Tour Site, the Grand Water Fall of the Three Gorges, The Grand Canyon of Caibu River. They accumulatively received 243,105 tourists which brought the total tourism revenue of 15.212 million yuan.

　　During the 3-day holiday full of patriotic atmosphere, many tourists chose the Red Tourism to review the history of War of Chinese People\'s Resistance Against Japan and the world Anti-Fascism war. Some patriotic education bases like the Stone Stele Fortress of the Anti-Japanese War Memorial in the Tribe of the Three Gorges Tour Site, the Three Gorge Dam, Yichang Evacuation Memorial Park attracted large number of tourists.
