According to the notification issued byYichang Municipal Environmental Protection Committee Office on the whole city’s PM10 concentrations of January-August 2015, it’s reported yesterday that the good air quality day of  central urban area has reached 30 in August, with the good rate of 96.77%.

From January to August, the PM10 concentrations in each district of the urban area descend from Dianjun District, the highest one, via Xiling District, High-tech Zone, Yiling District and Xiaoting District, to Wujiagang District, the lowest one. In other counties and county-level cities, the low-to-high PM10 concentration sequence comes as Xingshan, Wufeng, Yuan’an, Zhijiang, Zigui, Changyang, Dangyang and Yidu.

From January to August, on average PM10 concentration, the top three are Yidu County-level City, Wujiagang District and Xiaoting District; compared with that of 2014 in the same period, Yidu County-level City and Zigui County increase rapidly, with the growing rate of 51.6% and 43.8% respectively.
