Yesterday, the reporter was informed that there were five city parks under construction; green road construction is to be fully implemented. The east valley area of the Moji Mountain Park has basically been completed, and its main entrance, the gate, peak footpath,afforestation areunder construction; the roads, afforestation, and hilltop building of East Park have been basically completed, with some parts of the park having been open to the public; the second phase construction of Bailinhe wetland park is under construction; the orange trees of East Orange Park welcome all the passengers with their branches swinging in the breeze.
The East Park, located in the eastern part of Wujiagang District, is surrounded by Chengdong Avenue, Dongyun Road, Yiwan Railway and Zhongnan Road. In addition, the middle section of Renzhi road is at the tunnel site with a total land area of about 44 hectares, which is to be completed by the end of this year. It will be the first sports-themed mountain park in Yichang City. After completion, it will be the combination of ecological landscape sightseeing, visit, fitness, and recreation. The East Park is surrounded by five mountains, and will have a 80,000-square-meter Orangerie in it according to the construction plan. When you enter the park in spring, you can smell orange fragrance; in autumn you can taste oranges. This project will not only maintain the original appearance of the natural mountain, but also save the costs and avoid negative impacts on the environment.
