Come to visit three gorges, view the three gorges dam, and taste delicious food. During National Day, scenic spots in Yichang saw thousands of tourists, so did those urban time-honored snack shops. With streams of people, the city was fully bustling. On October 4th, reporters visited Wanda, Walking Street, CBD, ect, where delicious food can be found and foodies gather. “Today’s business is really good; just like the three gorges dam, people rush out here” said Mrs. Hu, a business woman selling radish dumplings on Jianghai Road. At 7:30 last night, she pointed to her empty rice milk pot and felt sorry for six to seven gourmets coming for her. Starting from 9:00am and finishing at 7:30 pm, Hu sold out all she had prepared, nearly 100 kilograms of radish, and she had received over a hundred of orders at lunch and supper time.  She said: “A customer from Tianjing came here, packing 50 radish dumplings at a time; also some customers ordered 15 or 30 ones at a time.” Several foreigners showed their thumbs up when tasting her radish dumplings this afternoon.
In the snack street on Yiling Avenue, Zhengxinji Shrimp Shape Drink, which has been certified by more than one unit including SAIC, CCTV, ect. also welcomed in golden week of sale. Three honored plaques, namely “Yichang Most Famous Local Flavors” “Yichang Time-honored Snack” “Registered Trademark, Zhengxinji” hang over the shop, which makes many non-local tourists excited to scream: “Yeah! We’ve got the right place.” According to the boss, his business was much better over National Day than usual, and tourists from other places like Wuhan, Shiyan as well as Sichuan just enjoyed such a kind of fragrant, soft and tender dessert drink. (Reporter: Gao Shengnan)
