The Arabic diplomatic group paid a visit to Yichang on October 16. The member and deputy mayor of Standing Committee Song Wenbao held a reception for the group.

On behalf of the Yichang Municipal government and Yichang people, Song gave a warm welcome to the Diplomatic group. He hoped that the ambassadors can grasp the opportunity to intensify communication with Yichang and enlarge cooperation field for that Yichang owned beneficial strategic development opportunities called Silk Road Economic Belt and Silk Road in the Sea.

Iraq Ambassador in China Abdul Kerim Mustafa expressed gratitude for Yichang’s enthusiastic reception. He said that Yichang is a modern city that has great potential and great prospect. Yichang is expected to intensify communications with Arabic courtiers especially in agriculture, industry and high technology.
