Railway: Highways are to be built along the Jiangnan and Jiangbei Fanba Railway route and Dangyang-Yuan’an Railway route; railways for Yichang-Laifeng, Shennongjia-Wufeng and Zhijiang-Shimen will take on high-speed oil storage transportation; the construction of 65-kilometer-long product oil pipeline will be completed at the end of 2020.

　　In the near future, the linkage of railways, highways and waterways will better facilitate the routes towards Sichuan Province. It was reported yesterday that in accordance with the documents issued by Yichang Government Office, the development of Yangtze River Three Gorges Comprehensive Transportation System is to be speeded up, and incorporated into the national strategy and “the 13th Five Year Plan” prior to the end of 2016; the initial projects, including railway-river combined transportation, are to be put into early operation. Eight ports will be successively built in Yichang city, coupled with Jiangnan and Jiangbei Fanba Railway, Jiangbei Fanba Highway, Shennongjia –Xingshan –Changyang -Wufeng Highway, therefore offering smooth channels to the Three Gorges region.

　　8 Ports Smooth Water Transportation

  Taipingxi Port Project will be built in September 2016 and completed by the end of 2025. The project will include 12 container berths of 5,000t and 25 integrated berths of 3,000t, capable of handling 58.12-million-ton annually, including railway-waterway combined transportation of 34.8-million-ton.

　　Baiyang Port Project, being under construction and will be completed by the end of 2020, is formed by 13 integrated berths of 3,000t and a logistics park of 2.6km².

　　Maoping Port Project is being under construction and will be completed by the end of 2016, including 5 integrated berths of 3,000t.

　　Honghuatao Port Project，to be completed by the end of 2016, has been under construction, including 4 integrated berths of 3,000t and a logistics park of 1km².

　　Yaojiagang Port Project, currently under construction and will be completed by the end of 2020, includes 6 integrated berths of 3,000t and a logistics park of 2km².

　　Tianjiahe Port Project will be built before the year of 2020 and completed by the end of 2025, including 18 integrated berths of 3,000t.

　　Qixingtai Port Project will be built in September 2016 and completed by the end of 2020, including 8 integrated berths of 3,000t.

　　Zhicheng Port Project will be built in 2018 and completed by the end of 2020, including 4 integrated berths of 3,000t.

　　Railway Route from Zigui to Honghuatao

　　Jiangbei Fanba Railway Project will start construction in September 2016 and completed the 67-kilometer-long Taipingxi Port-Yayi section by the end of 2020, and 35-kilometer-long Taipingxi Port-Baiyang Port by the end of 2030.

　　Jiangnan Fanba Railway Project will start construction in 2017 and completed the 40-kilometer-long Maoping Port-Yichang South Railway Station by the end of 2020, and 33-kilometer-long Yichang South Railway Station-Honghuatao Port and also 22-kilometer-long Honghuatao Port-Zhicheng by the end of 2025.

　　Dangyang-Yuan’an Railway Project will start construction in June 2016 and be finished by the end of 2020 with the 62-kilometer-long construction scale (including discharge line).

　　Shennongjia-Wufeng Highways

　　The preliminary work of Jiangbei Fanba Highway Project will be completed before the end of 2015. The construction of the project approved by the Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission will be started in June 2016 and completed by the end of 2020 (including 32-kilometer-long Taipingxi-Yiba Highway).
The early work of Yichang-Laifeng Highway Project will be completed before the end of 2016. The construction of the project approved by the Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission will be started in 2017 and completed by the end of 2020 (with the total length of 94km).

　　The early work of Shennongjia-Xingshan-Changyang-Wufeng Highway Project will be launched in 2016, with its construction to be initiated prior to the year of 2020 and completed by the end of 2025 (with the total length of 197km).

　　The early work of Zhijiang-Shimen (Hunan) Highway Project will be launched in 2016. And its construction will be started before 2020 and completed by the end of 2025 (with the total length of 22km).
