Over 130 cart vendors in uniform, hundred kinds of special snacks in a line… after the collective regulation over 10 months, the night food stand at CBD with a fresh look has become a beautiful landscape in the citizens’ eyes. “In order to further strengthen the regulation on food vendors in CBD night market, since last December, government agencies have implemented collective regulation in three aspects: clearing the regulation requirements, fulfilling self-disciplinary responsibilities, supervising food safety, to make sure of forging the night market food safety model street.” According to the person in charge from Food and Drug Administration of Xiling District, the business hours, style of vending carts, logos and signs, trash-recycle containers of all food vendors are collectively managed. The supervisors will concentrate on the health, sanitation, “Three-proof” facilities (fly-proof, dust-proof and mouse-proof), invoices, food quality, food additives and processing.
