Over 1300 experts and scholars in the field of microbial research came to Yichang to attend the “2015 Annual Academic Conference on Chinese Microbiology”, which was held from Oct. 23 to 27. This conference, themed “Microorganism and Sustainable Development”, is sponsored by the Chinese Society for Microbiology (CSM) and jointly organized by the Angel Yeast Co. Ltd., China Three Gorges University, Hubei Society for Microbiology, and Wuhan Virus Institute under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

    It’s learned that this large-scale conference has more than 1,300 registered participants, who are mainly the experts and scholars working and teaching in the area of Chinese microbiology, including Deng Zixin, the chairmen of CSM and the academician of CAS, and Yang Haihua, the deputy secretary general of CSM, etc.
