Internet sales platforms of agricultural products are on sharp increase in Yichang, such as China Yichang Pavilion with Taobao characteristics, Shangda Internet Company, Yichang Pavilion of Suning E-commerce and so on. Accordingly, they have created a publicity and on-line sales platform with lower cost and wider coverage for distinctive agricultural products in Yichang.

　　If sold through the Internet, the quality of agricultural products is of great significance. We use Internet of things technology to realize precise operation and real-time monitoring productive process in the production base to ensure quality safety. Now, a municipal cloud platform and three pilot base application platforms for agricultural internet of things have been established. There are three pilot base application platforms in Yichang, including Xiaoxihong Orange Science and Technology Park in Yiling District, Hubei Oriental Time Modern Agriculture Industrial Park in Zhijiang, Tianying Vegetable Farmers’ Professional Cooperatives in Zhijiang. They individually deploy management and control system of Internet of things for field planting and cultivation facilities of orange and vegetable and management and control system of Internet of things for fine aquaculture farming, making the production processes intelligent, automated, precise, control remote through terminals, such as computer, cellphone and so on.

　　Since the launch of the quality safety traceability management system for agricultural products, we have totally invest 6.3 million yuan to install traceability management system for 126 municipal agricultural standardization demonstration bases.

　　“Smart+ travel” makes the new domain of digit tourism.

　　Smart travel brings about convenience and comfort. 　　In recent years, e-commerce thrives in Yichang. In 2011, Yichang becomes one of the national top hundred cities of network operator developing index, ranking first in our province except Wuhan.
