The opening ceremony of Alibaba’s LBS project (Yichang) was held in the Tsinghua Sci-Tech Park on Nov. 6, which is the first LBS service center of Alibaba ever launched in Hubei Province.  

The LBS can locate the mobile terminal users with the assistance of mobile Internet and provide a kind of corresponding value-added service for the users with the support of GIS platform. On the same day, the YichangWangmao Network Technology Co. Ltd., which is the Alibaba’s LBS (Yichang) cooperative partner, obtained the service license and became the only designated LBS service center of Alibaba Group in Yichang. Both sides will fully exert their own advantages, jointly establish the ecological chain and cycle of cross-border e-commence which integrate the channel construction, Internet finance, integrated service platform for foreign trade, talents system of e-commerce and the aggregation of e-commence platforms, and help enhance the competitiveness and service level of e-commence and foreign trade for local small and medium-sized companies to participate in the international trade.   

ZhongXuemao, the general manager of YichangWangmao Network Technology Co. Ltd., said that Wangmao would introduce more Alibaba’s cross-border platform sources and services to Yichang, encourage the local small and medium-sized companies to conduct in-depth cooperation through the “integrated service of Internet and cross-border e-commence” in their preponderant fields. He also said that Wangmao would create more opportunities for establishing the cross-border e-commence platform, and build Yichang into the national demonstration area for constructing cross-border e-commence.
