From 27 to 28 October, the provincial Quality Supervision Bureau sent a team of experts to conduct a verification of the first national quality inspection center- the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Phosphorus Products.

The team of experts conducted site inspections at the quality inspection center for the products in Three Georges, national inspection center construction base for phosphorus products and Hubei Xingfa Group, and listened to the reports of our city upon the construction planning. In general, they passed the project verification.

To accelerate the industrial development of phosphorus chemistry, the city party committee and government have attached great importance to and fully initiated the preparation work for constructing the national inspection center for phosphorus products. They would regard the construction of the quality inspection center project for the Three Gorges products as a springboard with an investment of over 30 million yuan to construct 3000 m2 of high-standard national quality supervision and inspection central lab for phosphorus products, which is expected to be put into use in 2017. After establishment, it would undertake the work of testing and inspection, standard making and technical R&D of phosphorus products across the province or even the whole country, hence uplifting the added value of phosphorus products and providing strong technical support in promoting phosphorus chemical industry to move towards the medium and high end of the whole chain.
