2015-11-30 16:38:03

In recent years, The Yichang Vehicle Management Station strongly promote the transparency and intelligence of the driving test, and it is the first to achieve the computer intelligent evaluation in all the transparent driving test subjects among the municipal-level cities. The newly increased 100 thousand drivers all obtainedtheir licenses by passing the “transparent driving test” since this year.

The Yichang Vehicle Management Station eradicated surrogate exam-takers by physically isolating the testing rooms during the theory tests of Subject 1 and 3, confirming candidates’ identities through the second generation ID card system and the fingerprint recognition system. What’s more, in order to make it convenient for people in the waiting room to supervise the whole process at any time, high definition monitors with 360 degrees camera lens are installed in the test room, and cameras are installed in each test computer to take photos of the candidates which would be printed on the report card. The results of the test would be judged by the computer and be uploaded in real time.

In the test of subject 2, candidates and the test vehicle are both in “random distribution”, which means that the candidates and test vehicles are all distributed randomly by the computer system. At the same time, the test results are judged and uploaded in real time by the automatic evaluation system of computers. Also, audio-video monitoring system is installed in each test vehicles to video the whole test process, keeping files for future reference.

In the test of Subject 3, the whole test process are completed by the “Intelligent Evaluation System for Subject 3” composed of the test control management center, on-vehicle intelligent judge, audio-video monitors, GPS, inertial navigation and digital communication technology. This system can identify the test vehicle according to its actual position thus give candidates voice prompt and automatic evaluation. Candidates start the test independently on the basis of the instructions from the voice prompt system on the vehicle and their test results are judged automatically by the computer.

In each test of subject 1, 2, 3, the last five candidates who attend the test would be appointed as the supervisors of the test, monitoring the test process and the work of the invigilator. (Correspondent: Yao Hua, Hu Yongquan)
