The 2015 Circum-Bohai-Sea Fair for Investment Promotion of Hubei Provincial Cultural Industry was held in Beijing on November 14, followed by a contract-signing ceremony. Yichang city signed a project on the spot. Liang Weinian, member of the CPC Standing Committee and Publicity Minister of Hubei province, attended and addressed the ceremony.

Yichang city signed up a Yangtze River New Media self-publishing project worthy of 200m yuan, which was co-invested by Yichang Three Gorges Daily Media Group Co., Ltd and Hua Ying Era (Beijing) International Cultural Industry Investment Management Co., Ltd. The project is to be built into the world-leading Internet new media publishing system with a world first-class network terminal that will publish according to demand and personal taste, so as to hold a safe lead in self-publishing industry of the Internet era, and to forge a sound new media system which is composed of Internet, self-publishing and publishing houses, thus offering an innovative culture platform for nationwide reading.
