On Dec 1, a signing ceremony concerning 30 projects, including a one-billion project of the new high-end environmental-friendly building materials, was held at the Dangyang Oriental International Hotel. During the ceremony, the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine endowed the Dangyang city with the honorary title of “Home to Puerarin” and awarded the sign on the spot. Meanwhile, the Three Gorges’ Rural Commercial Bank signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Dangyang government.

　　The total investment amount of these 30 projects reaches 5.602 billion, among which there are 18 projects with an investment of over 100 million. If these projects are put into operation, they will create an output value of 11 billion yuan and the profits and taxes of 1 billion yuan or so.

　　In recent years, the municipal party committee and the government of Dangyang have implemented the “Zhenggao Project” (Investment-inviting Project) to attract a batch of large-scaled, high-tech and strong effect-driving projects to settle in Dangyang, which have greatly promoted the city’s economic and social development.
