Total Export and Import Value Reaches 15.1 Billion Yuan from Jan to Oct

　　According to the information released by the Yichang Customs, from January to October the total sum of export and import trade reached 15.07 billion Yuan, increasing 14.9%. And among the total sum, the export value reached 13.14 billion Yuan, increasing 22.4%; the import value reached 1.93 billon Yuan, reducing 18.7%. The total value of export and import in Yichang takes up 7.2% in Hubei Province.

　　The data shows that the total value of general trade from January to October was 12.51 billion Yuan, increasing 17.9% and taking up 83% of the total value of all trades of the same period. The total value of processing trade was 2.08 billion Yuan, reducing 13.1%.

　　From January to October the total value of export and import of private enterprises reached 6.52 billion Yuan, increasing 6.5%; the state-owned enterprises reaching 6.51 billion Yuan, increasing 42.1%. Besides, the total value of export and import of joint venture enterprises reached 1.21 billion Yuan, reducing 23.2%, while foreign-owned enterprises reached 760 million Yuan, increasing 1.6%.

　　India is the first largest trade partner for Yichang. The total value of export and import trade between Yichang and India was 3.1 billion Yuan, increasing 210%, which strengthened the development of the whole city’s export trade. The total value of bilateral trade between Yichang and ASEAN reached 1.94 billion Yuan, increasing 0.6%, while value between Yichang and United States was 1.46 billion Yuan, reducing 13.8%.

　　Ammonium phosphate is the main item for export. The top 5 items for export in Yichang separately were ammonium phosphate, aluminium-foil without paper lining, medical gauze, yeast and urea. The top 5 goods for import separately were sulphur, ammonium phosphate, cotton and parts of marine diesel engines.
