The results of the“Internetplus Government Service” selection activity, a part of the Annual Conference of China Smart City 2015,were announced on November 27th. And Yichang won the progress award of the the fifth ChinaSmart City Development, Assessment and Construction.

In the selection activity themed with “ Exploring the benchmarking of the practice of internet and government services, seeking out the best case of e-government services”, over 300 people were invited to participate, including the e-government leaders of the state ministries, the provinces, the cities and the counties, the leading experts of the domestic e-government areas and the mainstream media representatives.

Yichang e-home, which makes public services convenient for the citizens and has improved their better life index, hasbecome a smart platform for queries and handling affairs. For instance, citizens can query about medical treatment, transportation and their consumption of water, electricity and gas. They canalso make online payment and renewal of differentcertificates.
