In recent years, with the fundamental goal of satisfying the masses, Yichang Municipal Party Committee and Yichang Municipal Government have given first priority to the food safety among the “People\'s Livelihood Projects Top Five”, starting from the aspects of big concerns, worries and tough work and took great pains to set up the “Four Platforms”(i.e. inspection and detection, traceability supervision, grid management and credit information) and the “Six Systems”(i.e. supply, responsibility, risk monitoring and supervision, emergency and social work) by focusing on the key issues, strengthening the weak spots and surmounting difficulties. Efforts have been made to establish a food safety management system featuring overall unity, clear responsibility, efficient operation, powerful guarantee, seamless connection, and full regulations, thus ensuring the food safety to benefit every household and every individual in Yichang.
