First “duty-free certificate” for New Energy Vehicle Issued

December 14th,YichangShuntong Tourism Transportation Co., Ltd obtained the city\'s first vehicle purchase tax exemption certificate of the new energy vehicles from the City Branch of the National Tax Bureau, successfully exempting purchase tax 16,800 yuan, and the entire declaration procedure took only five minutes. It is said that this was the first case of tax exemption application since the policy implemented over one year ago.

In order to promote the strategic transformation of our transport energy, the construction of ecological civilization, and the development of new energy automotive industry, the Ministry of Finance, State Administration of Taxation, the Ministry of Industry jointly issued the "Announcement on the Exemption of Vehicle Purchase Tax on New Energy Vehicles " on August 1st 2014. Since September 1st 2014 to December 31st 2017, the pure electric and plug-in hybrids, three types of fuel cell new energy vehicles will be exempted from vehicle purchase tax.

Mr. Feng, manager of the company, introduced that this Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus is used for commuters. As a pure electric zero-emission new energy bus, the car can pick up 18 people and the maximum speed reaches 100km / h. originally, the company has commuting vehicles, but they were canceled due to the large displacement and oil consumption. After the policy of the new energy vehicles exemption from purchase tax, the company decided to purchase a new energy vehicles for the reasons of energy saving and environmental protection. "Except for low price, the new energy vehicles also enjoy the concessions of exempting from vehicle purchase tax, which saves a lot of costs."
