The total imports and exports value of Yichang city reached 17050 million yuan (RMB, the same below), realizing a year-on-year increase of 13.5 percent in the first eleven months. And the total imports and exports value of Yichang city accounting for 7 percent of the total volume of Hubei province, according to Yichang Municipal Customs yesterday.
　　Statistics show that the general trade imports and exports grew by 16.5 percent and reached 14310 million yuan from January to November,  accounting for 83.9 percent of the total imports and exports value of the city. Besides, the processing trade imports and exports value, with an decrease of 15 percent, amounted to 2230 million yuan over the same period in this city.

From January to November, the imports and exports value of private enterprises reached 7400 million yuan, increasing by 3.9 percent in Yichang And the imports and exports value of state-owned enterprises, reached 7450 million yuan, with the rate of growth of 39.9 percent, over the same period. In addition, the import and export value has decreased by 23.3 percent to 1290 million yuan in joint ventures. While the imports and exports value of foreign-owned enterprises registered an increase of 2.2 percent and increased to 830 million yuan.
　　India is the first largest trade partner of Yichang. From January to November, the total value of bilateral trade between Yichang and India amounted to 3690 million yuan, up 2.9-fold. The bilateral trade volume with ASEAN amounted to 2180 million yuan, increasing by 3.2 percent. While, the value with American was 1550 million yuan, reducing by 16.1 percent, with European Union and Japan, the total import-export volume declined 28.5 percent and 3.3 percent respectively. Ammonium phosphate is the main item for export. The top 5 items for export in Yichang were ammonium phosphate, non-aluminum foil, yeast, medical gauze and urea from January to November. The top 4 goods for import separately were sulphur, no backing aluminum foil, cotton and the parts of marine diesel engines over the same period.
　　There are four enterprises whose value of imports and exports exceeded 1000 million yuan, including Yichang Jin Mei Industrial Co., Ltd., YidouXingfa Chemicals Group Co., Ltd, Yichang Haley Foreign Trade Co., Ltd. and Hubei Yihua Fertilizer Co., Ltd..In addition, there are 10 enterprises with the import and export value reaching between￥500 million to￥1000 million.
