The opening ceremony of Yichang Internet Culture Association was held in Xiazhou Hotel on December 18th. Municipal Standing Committee and Propaganda Minister Liao Dafeng attended this conference.

In her conference speech, Ms. Liao pointed out that the founding of Yichang Internet Culture Association opened up a new way to strengthen the construction of Internet Culture of our city. She demanded that the association and its members should enhance the consciousness of the overall situation, remember the social responsibility, fully play the leading role in model setting , vigorously hold Internet cultural activities propagating core values of socialism, build up Internet culture brands, actively spread positive energy, show Yichang’s good image, strengthen the construction of the association and industry self-discipline, and constantly promote the healthy development of the Internet culture industry in our city to make contributions to build a more beautiful, cleaner, safer Internet Home.

The Yichang Internet Culture Association is founded under the guidance and charge of Municipal Publicity Department as the first cultural community of Internet in our city. The first board of directors was elected and the association charters were passed on the conference. At present, there are 3 group members and 117 individual members. (Reporter Zhao Jingyi)
