On December 28, the No. 802 intercity buses linking Yichang with Yuyangguan Town and the No. 812 intercity buses linking Yichang urban area with Wufeng County were officially opened, which were invested and run by the Yichang Transportation Group. The new lines following the No.1 and No.2 city bus lines of the new Wufeng County have officially been operated less than a month.

Over 2.29 million dollars have been poured into the project as well as 30 Yutong luxury coaches with 39 high-grade seats, TV, WiFi, etc., 24 of which came into use at the beginning, which have brought about brand new experience to the passengers.

According to the relevant person in charge, the No. 802 Yichang City - Yuyangguan Town intercity buses start from the Yichang Passenger Transportation Center, stop by Wuyi Square, Bridge Hotel (Xiaoting ancient battlefield bus stop), Honghuatao Driving Text Center, Qingjiang Mall, Five Springs, Niejia River and Panjia Bay, and wind up at Yuyanggaun Terminal, swinging back and forth along these stops. The buses starting from Yichang are available from 06:50 to 18:20 and from 06:50 to 18:40 while starting from the Yuyanggaun Terminal.

The No.812 Yichang City - Wufeng County intercity buses start from the Yichang Passenger Transportation Center, stop by Wuyi Square, Bridge Hotel (Xiaoting ancient battlefield bus stop), Honghuatao Driving Text Center, Qingjiang Mall, Five Springs, Niejia River, Panjia Bay, Yuyang Gate, Changle Ping and Bailu Village (Long Bay), and end at the passenger terminal of Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, swinging back and forth along these stops. The buses starting from Yichang are available from 07:20 to 18:20 and from 06:50 to 18:40 while starting from passenger terminal of Wufeng.

Every 30 minutes, the No.802 and No.812 buses set off from the beginning stop during flat peak period and run more frequently during peak period. What worth mentioning is that the No. 812 buses originate from Yichang Long Distance Passenger Transportation Center at 6:40, 8:30, 10:30, 12:30, 15:30 and 17:40, and then pick up passengers at Yichang Passenger Transportation Center.

The ticket prices of No.802 and No.812 are 5.3 dollars and 7.6 dollars respectively. However the prices will be discounted at around 30% for the favor of passengers at the beginning. (Correspondent Chen Chao, Reporter Shen Aimin)
