It also means that Yichang people will be able to buy a variety of affordable ‘foreign foods’ at home.” After Yichang Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center (type B), located in Xiao Ting area, successfully obtains the approval of General Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance, State Administration of Taxation and State Administration of Foreign Exchange. After Wuhan East and West Lake Bonded Logistics Center and Yellowstone chessboard state Bonded Logistics Center, Yichang Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center (type B) is the third authorized Bonded Logistics Center (type B) in Hubei province and the only Bonded Logistics Center in Yichang, Jingzhou, and Jingmen city, Hubei province.

At present, it is the period that China speeds up the implementation of the FTA strategy, vigorously promoting “one Belt one Road” and the opening and development of the Yangtze River economic zone. The construction of Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center is an important step that Yichang firstly and comprehensively docks on Shanghai Free Trade Experimental Area, deepening the comprehensive reform and opening-up in Hubei province and focusing on creating the new advantage of innovation and development.

Focusing on developing modern logistics, cultural tourism and advanced manufacture, Yichang Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center (type B) Project will construct the global and important air-sea-land center, international leisure travel service demonstration zone and the opening cooperation experimental zone in Three Gorges, building an important hub and strategy fulcrum which docked China’s Yangtze River economic belt and “One Belt One Road”. This project, in the middle route from Chongqing to Wuhan, is located in the import and export trade of golden mile. “After completion, it can comprehensively reduce the cost of the foreign trade enterprises from 15 percent to 20 percent, bring about 20 percent value-added services, and realize the investment and trade facilitation. Yichang, as provincial deputy central cities and the Three Gorges urban agglomeration central city, will better play role in radiation and driving.” Lin Jingjing introduced that.

Just as the “only genuine and superior products”-the imported goods outlet center in east and West Lake Bonded District, being established in the Wuhan East and West Lake Bonded Logistics Center, it covers about 20000 kinds of commodity in more than 100 countries and regions, part of which can save 20 percent to 30 percent of purchase cost at least; at the same time, customs directly supervise and the quality is guaranteed. 15 percent discount is commonly enjoyed when you bought the imported goods in here and some of goods up to 50 percent discount. Yichang Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center is also planning to direct sell the imported goods. Lin Jingjing said that the specific implementation and operation are still projected and there is possibility to do electronic trade as the market demand. According to information, after the accomplishment of the Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center, the logistics operation could reach 1.6 million tons per year and 0.8 million tons of storage capacity per year. The general service building is 17,200 square meters and the first and second floor of the main building is the customs and CIQ office area. The annexe is the bonded logistics center management committee and the other places are leased to the enterprises to work, according to 10000 square meters business office area accommodating 1000 people.

 “According to the approximate size of foreign trade enterprise in Yichang, it can accommodate 200 companies.” Fang Meng, the responsible officer in investment section of the Yichang Three Gorges Xin Wu Bonded Logistics co., LTD, said that, according to the Customs Decree No. 130, the enterprises, settled in Bonded Logistics Center, must go through the registration of the administrative department for industry and commerce in Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center and have the independent right of enterprise legal persons as well as tax payment.

The enterprises and institutions must engage in the business including import and export processing, cross-border e-commerce, commodities trading, international settlement, international logistics enterprises and institution, financial leasing, bonded display, international service outsourcing and service trade.
