On December 11th, Dianjun Chinese Honeybee Keeper Cooperative successfully held its opening ceremony in Liulin village, Aijia Town. It marks the founding of the very first cooperative featuring Chinese honeybee breeding in southwestern Hubei.
Led by Qin Xinmao, a major Chinese honeybee breeder in Dianjun, the Cooperative boasts of a highly skillful and experienced staff including one with a PHD degree, two with a medicine major and three with honeybee breeding major and it has a good market channel. Taking series of honey products as the breakthrough point, the organization, in accordance with natural, ecological and green concept, holds as its business cornerstone manufacturing pollution-free goods with no additives and zero extraction in the process, puts credibility first and is determined to seek its own value in the honey market with both honest and dishonest producers in it.
In 2016, the cooperative plans to breed about 1000 swarms of Chinese honeybees in Liulin Village and realize an annual sale income over three million yuan through leading the 120 families in the village, from which 58 are recognized as poor families by the provincial government, in this field. It will also provide honeybees to the beekeepers for free under a unified management and technical guidance, and their harvest will also be purchased at the same market price to insure their interest.
After the opening ceremony, the cooperative signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Liulin Village Committee and the Aijia Branch of Three Gorges Rural Commercial Bank. (Reporter Liu Jinxin)
