On Jan. 8, the 2015 rental housing lottery ceremony was held by the Housing Security Department of Yichang, and the numbers for 4,431 families to visit and choose the rental apartments are settled.

There are 4,431 families applying for this on-live rental housing. The number of available rental apartments is 3,754 sets, among which there are 1,470 sets of apartments with property ownership certificates and 2,284 sets without the certificate. Among the 1,470 sets of apartments, there are 1,153 sets located at the Minjia Apartment in Dongshan No.4 Road (which will be available before Sept. 30, 2016), 258 sets at Minan Residential Headquarter in the extended segment of Zhongnan Road, 45 sets at the Hongqi Cable Factory of Tanjiahe, 10 sets at Minxin Residential Headquarters in Songlin Road, 2 sets at the Minyi Residential Headquarters in Heyi Road, one set at the Minhui Residential Headquarters in Wangjiahe and one set at Longpanxinyuan Residential Headquarters in Linjiangxi. Among the 2,284 sets of apartments, there are 1,068 sets of rental apartments at Tangjiawan Village in Jinji Road and 1,216 sets at the Hetangyueshe Residential Headquarters.    

At 9:30 a.m., 4,431 families were divided into five groups for the visiting housing numbers under the supervision of notaries, TV audiences and representatives of the families. It took 2 hours to draw all numbers to visit apartments after a process of housing-lottery and notarization. As a result, there are 1,470 families able to get finished apartments. These families will choose apartments in Jan. And there are 2,961 families waiting for the completion of housing. These families will choose apartments according to the lottery numbers after the completion of housing construction.

According to the information from Housing Security and Housing Authority, there are 1,316 families in Group 1 to Group 4 and 154 families from Number 1 to Number 154 getting notices of visiting and selecting apartments on Jan. 12th to 13th getting notices of visiting and selecting apartments. All these families (1,470 in total) will visit the houses in the rental housing communities on Jan. 14th to 16th and select the houses in required time and place on Jan. 18th to 28th. The contract will be signed in March.

The families in Group 5 from Number 155 to 3115 are queued families. The queued time is from Jan. 9th, 2016 to Jan. 8th, 2017. Before May 31th, 2016, the Housing Security and Housing Authority office will arrange and declare the visiting and selecting time for queued families and organize them in the order of lottery numbers after the municipal Price Bureau certifying the rental houses price standards in Hetangyueshe Residential Headquarters and Rental Housing atJinji Road.

The queued families that fail to select apartments because of house shortage will have privilege to select the apartments in one year’s queued time. The queued qualification will be invalid after one year and then the applications must be applied again.
