According to the Three Gorges Navigation Authority, it will implement a regulation project, which is the renovation of LianTuo channel-between the Three Gorges Dam and Gezhouba Dam. The program is integrated into the national key construction projects, with investment estimation capital of 460 million yuan. The project mainly aims at eliminating the underwater navigational reefs which are on the both sides of the shoreline, cutting the higher riverbed in the left bank of ShaiJingping ground, moved the rocks to use for throw and filling project in the deep branch river, and supporting the construction-related aids and hydrographic facilities.
