According to the Municipal Price Bureau, the Urban Price Reporting Center in the year 2015 totally received 2858 price complaint and consulting cases with an increase of 47% compared with that in the preceding year. The economic sanction of the 2015 reached 62,356.9 yuan, of which the repelling overcharge was 42369.7 yuan completed with the confiscated illegal income of 4996.8 yuan and 14,990.4 yuan of fine.

Related staff from the urban price reporting center told the reporter that with the growing awareness of rights of the public, in 2015, the safeguard right cases, which are less than 100 yuan per case, accounted for 10%. The value of the smallest case was only 0.8 yuan.
