At the national tourism working conference held this week in Haikou Hainan, Yichang tourism wins three honors, including “National Research and Study Tourism Demonstration Base", "2015‘ Restroom revolution \'advanced city", "China International tourism destinations foundation -  China International Water Conservancy Travel Destination”, and Yichang becomes the only city in our province which wins three awards at the same time.

The brand identification of National Research and Study Tourism Demonstration Base is launched by National Tourism Bureau. Through careful comparison and assessment, Yichang Three Gorges Dam gains the recognition of Assessment Group owing to its unique resource advantage, preferable brand image, perfect hardware facilities and superior services to tourists, becoming one of the top 20 National Research and Study Tourism Demonstration Bases. As the important measure of national tourism “515 strategy”, since the implementation of restroom revolution in 2015, Yichang takes National standard tourism city as an opportunity and reconstructs and builds 121 tourism toilets with an investment of 41.409 million, effectively improving city’s tourism image. After the announcement of “China international tourism destination” program, there are 800 programs application, through careful comparison and assessment, Yichang becomes top 30 and the only honored city in Hubei province. (Reporter: Wang Ying; correspondent: Fan Ruiqing)
