A conference about advertising and brand building of Yichang food was held on Feb 17. The deputy Mayor Zhou Zhengying attended the conference.
　　The representatives of the Association of the Municipal Catering and Hotel Industry shared the experience that they had learned in Chongqing. Representatives from Taohualing Hotel, Great Wall Hotel, Daoxiangge, Shalongyan, Yansha, Juweng and Zijiren exchanged their ideas about the future development at the conference. Nonlocal enterprises such as Yanyangtian and Liangji Zhoupu also gave speech at the conference.
　　Zhou called on all relevant departments to learn from experiences of Chongqing and make an effort to build Yichang into a paradise of food. In the coming three years, Yichang will develop the catering industry by promoting the development of Food Street, Food Town and Star Agritainment. Special funds will be attributed to promote brands and offer lower charges for water and electricity of catering industry. Zhou expected that the enterprise would respond actively to the reform of catering business and make great contribution to the brand promotion, with an aim of stepping up the development of Yichang economy and improving the people’s quality of life. (Correspondent: Zhao Cheng)
