On February 19th, the reporters learned from the Municipal Food and Drug Administration that the law enforcement officer found 7 batches of substandard products in the food safety supervision and inspection carried out recently. At present, the related departments have handled with the substandard products. The citizens can report complaints if they found the products are still selling.

Among the sampling of the 7 batches of substandard food in this time, 2 of which were made in Zigui, Yichang and 5 of which were made by Yichang sales business units. The substandard foods refer to three kinds of foods, including vegetables and derived products, roasted foods and nut food products, potato and puffed food. Water, peroxide value, the total numbers of colonies is the mainly unqualified test items. The Municipal Food and Drug Administration official says that, they have urged the production operator to archive, remove off shelves and recall the unqualified products, and carried out further investigation to the unqualified products production operator, in order to find out the unqualified products’ batch, number, and reason and formulate the rectification measures.

It is reported that 7 batches unqualified product respectively were “ spicy flavor rice crust” produced by Zigui KangBo Food Co., Ltd. on December1, 2015, identified as Kang Hui, with 88g per bag; the “ beef flavor rice crust”, produced by Zigui KangBo Food Co., Ltd. on September 20, 2015, identified as Kang Hui , which is bulk weighing； the “black fungus” and the packer is Yichang NingHua trade Co., Ltd, produced on September 10, 2015, with150g per bag; the “Tong Jiang fine fungus (dried product)”, produced by Chongqing wind duck trade Co., Ltd (sub-package) on January 1, 2015, identified as “wind rattan”, with 150g per bag, “ Fine Life Auricularia polytricha”(first class), produced on July 1, 2015, with 150g per bag ” ; “ Fine Life autumn black fungus (first class)Auricularia”, produced on July 5,2015, with 150g per bag; “old wine peanut with spicy flavor”, produced by Zhejiang Lijiang Food Co., Ltd on August 3, 2015, identified as “Lijiang”, with 120g per bag. (Reporter: Gao Shengnan, Correspondent: Li Feng)
