An opening ceremony was held by Sinoma Vine (Yichang) New Energy-saving Material Co., Ltd, a new multi-functional environmental protection wall materials industry base project on February 27th. Peng Jianxin, the President of China National Materials Group Corporation Ltd, Zhang Jianyi, the Party Secretary and Executive Deputy Director of the Municipal People’s Congress attended the ceremony.

The project with a total investment of 1000 million yuan will take the full advantage of the rich tails resources in Dangyang to construct a production line of annual output of 20 million square meters high calcium silicate board and  fiberboard, annual output of 2 million square meters multi-function and multi-variety coating plate, annual output of 2 million square meters of lightweight composite external wall insulation board and build up an energy-saving new materials research & development center. This project covers an area of 145333 square meters and its first phase investment is 320 million yuan. After completion it will achieve a sales-revenue of 420 million yuan and net profit of 640 million yuan per year.

As the first “national” investment project in Dangyang, the groundbreaking of this project will make a positive and far-reaching influence in optimizing the industrial structure, accelerating the transformation and upgrading and promoting green development. Peng Jianxin stresses that Sinoma Group will be based on top standards to guarantee a first-class construction and push the this project into production as soon as possible in order to make contributions to optimizing the local resources, promoting industrial upgrading, ensuring employment and adding taxes. (Correspondent Niu Hongyun & Reporter You Man)
