On the morning of Mar. 8, Ma Xuming, the Deputy CPC Party Secretary and Mayor of Yichang municipality, went to Beijing with the Yichang party and government delegation to visit the Tus-Holdings Co., Ltd. and Tsinghua Sci-Tech Park. During the visit, Ma Xuming signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tus-Holdings. The two sides will jointly run Qiusuo-Makerspace, build TusHolding Sci-Tech Town in Yichang develop the graphene industry, and undertake other research projects. The Tus-Holdings is planning to invest 3 billion Yuan, aiming to construct a new Sci-Tech innovation town at Gaoxing District of Yichang.  

Mr. Ma and his delegation visited the TusHolding Co. Ltd exhibition hall, the incubator of Tus-Holdings’ Star and Tsinghua X-lab. Also they listened to a detailed introduction to the incubator, the mode of “incubator investment” and the “Three Innovative Space” of Tsinghua X-lab. 　　

　　Mayor Ma Xuming also gave an introduction to Yichang. Yichang is a national civilized city, the sub-center city in Hubei, and a transportation hub in central China as well. Over the past years, Yichang’s overall power have risen significantly, ranking second among the cities of the central China, fourth in cities along the Yangtze River, second in Hubei Province and 57th in the whole country. Embracing the opportunities to develop Yangtze River Economic Zone and Three Gorges City Cluster, Yichang will give primary attention to develop the ten 100 billion Yuan projects such as advanced appliance manufacture, food and biological medicine, electronic informant, new materials and new energy in the coming years. The aviation industry will be further promoted too during the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan”. The Yichang municipal government has always laid stress on cultivating the enterprises’ innovative ability. In the future, efforts will be made to develop the new and high science and technology industry, and support mini sized enterprises. Yichang will make greater efforts to build itself into an innovative city of entrepreneurship.  

According to the CEO of Tus-Holding company, the company will upgrade traditional industry and develop new industry by adopting “three in one” modes, namely, combining “community” “campus” and “park”, “Tus-Holding Park” “enterprises” and “finance”, and “local government” “Tus-Holding” and “Tsinghua alumni resources”.

On behalf of the Yichang government and Tus-Holding Co. Ltd respectively, Ma Xuming and Wang Jiwu signed a strategic cooperation agreement, marking Tus-Holding’s operation of its first innovation base in Hubei. In-depth talks about the construction of projects will be continued in the future. 　

The Secretary-General Zhuang Guangming and the deputy Mayor Wang Yinghua also attended the signing ceremony.

On the afternoon of Mar 9, Deputy CPC Party Secretary and Mayor Ma Xuming visited Beijing Taikang Life Insurance Company, which include Yanyuan Kangfu hospital, health recovery center, Chinese medicine treatment rooms, in-patient department, professional nursing department, assistant nursing department, Lekang College (university for the elderly), entertainment and catering room, etc. 　　

The Taikang Company built the program to offer high-quality life for the elderly. It can provide accommodation, catering, medical care, and entertainment and sports facilities. The company also can offer personalized management basing on the customer’s physical conditions. Yichang will attach importance to develop health projects, which include bringing in Taikang’s projects in the research and manufacture of biological medicine. The related departments will conduct talks with the Taikang company for the substantial cooperation.
