2016-03-28 09:46:46

At 16:50 on March 11th, four conjoined cement storage tanks, in Gezhouba Tangyan Cement Co., Ltd, were successfully dismantled after a bang. Two days before, the company’s preheater frame factories were successfully demolished as well. This was the largest Demolition Blasting which was successfully implemented in Yichang cement industry.

As one of the leading enterprises in Yichang’s cement industry, with an annual output of 3 million tons of cement, Gezhouba Tangyan Cement Co., Ltd plans to install the second phrase of 4500t/d of clinker NSP cement production line in 2016, and it will dismantle the original 1200t/d cement production lines. The old production lines include 90-meter-high reinforced concrete structure preheater frame factories and four 40-meter-high conjoined cement tanks. Because the old production lines are only 7meters away from the new factories, therefore, it is very difficult to ensure that the new factories are intact.

Yichang Wanda Blasting Co., Ltd., the famous private blasting enterprise in the eastern of Chongqing and western area of Hubei, undertook the Demolition Blasting; it has successfully conducted many fantastic blasting projects, including the First Blasting in Qingjing of Changyang, China’s First Deep Blasting in Wufeng, the First Trestle Blasting on the Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River.  Dong Chuanping, head of the company, was praised as the first person of Yichang Directional Blasting by the people in this field.

From the beginning of this year, the eighth day of the first month, Wanda Blasting Co., Ltd. began to approach stationed survey, drilling, finishing more than 4000 shelling eyes. Each of the two blasts was completed within 3 seconds, and the blasting time was two weeks ahead of the schedule, gaining precious time for the production and operation of the enterprises.
