Yichang municipal government signed a strategic cooperative agreement with Tujia (Beijing) Network Technology Co. Ltd. and Yuanda Residential Industrial Corporation, Ltd. (YRIC) on March 31th. According to the agreement, the parties will cooperate in such industries as non-standard tourism accommodation, housing industrialization and the establishment of “wise tourism” routes and platforms.

It is learned that Tujia will build a platform of “Tourism+Internet” to improve the utilization rate of Yichang urban and rural quality non-standard accommodative facilities, to promote the supply of tourism accommodation industry and to innovate the tourism vacation industry so as to push on the construction of Yichang as a national demonstrative tourism city. According to the agreement, Tujia will help in five years the local investors to build holiday apartments, villas and antique dwellings with local characteristics for leisure tourism and other real estate for health preserving and retirement with a total of over 3000 suits. It will also help Yichang municipal government to establish “wise tourism” routes and platforms, and have depth cooperation in the ticket with three to five local scenic spots ranked national 4A and 5A.

YRIC will invest 500 million yuan in Yichang to build a R&D and manufacturing base for green buildings and an “Internet+ Rural Tourism Vacation” project and make sure to set up a complete system of architecture industrialization containing research and development, manufacturing, construction, raw materials and products.

Besides, Shanghai Tuyuan Property Consultants Co, Ltd signed an agreement with Yichang Transportation Group and Hubei Xiazhou Group for cooperation in tourism research and development. Both sides agreed on cooperative development and construction of real estate for leisure vacation, healthy care, retirement and tourism.

Tujia, a new-type professional comprehensive operation group dealing with mid-to-high end resort apartments, has been the first that relies on decentralized hotel management and service standards and integrate them with the evitalization of those idle housing resources off-line and with the provisoin of a 24-hour call service.

YRIC is one of the biggest and most powerful manufacturers of green buildings in China, and also a leading comprehensive enterprise of architecture industrialization. The corporation and Yuanda Group cofounded Tuyuan, a joint venture brand of rural tourism.

At the ceremony, key-note speeches were made by Luojun, cofounder and also CEO of Tujia and Shi Donghong, director and vice president of Yuanda Group.

Yichang will seize the great development opportunity in the building of Yangtze River Economic Zone and Three Gorges city agglomeration, and speed up the development of the top ten multi-trillion industries including advanced equipment manufacturing, bio-medicine, electronic information, new energies and modern logistics in addition to tourism and new materials. We will thoroughly implement the innovation-driven strategy, quicken the industrial transformation and strive to achieve the goal of "two firsts and two entrances”. Yichang provide a broad space and stage for innovation in travel industry and promotion in housing industrialization. She emphasized that, Yichang will continually optimize its development environment, strive to improve its administrative services, fully support the growth of Tujia, Yuanda groups and Tuyuan in Yichang, and work together with them to urgently finalize those cooperative projects so that they can generate benefits as early as possible.
