20 housing estates including the Xinwaitan residential area were appraised as the “Top Safe Housing Estates in 2015” jointly by the Municipal Comprehensive Management Office, the Municipal Public Security Bureau, and the Municipal Housing Authority in Yichang. While five housing estates including the Jiangshanjingyuan residential area (A zone) were notified as “Housing Estates with Hidden Danger”.

Last year, the activity to appraise “Safe Housing Estates” and “Housing Estates with Hidden Danger” was jointly organized by the three departments mentioned above. Most property management companies have clear measures and due diligence, effectively reducing the incidence of crimes, prominently enhancing the  sense of security for the majority of the owners and creating a safe and harmonious living environment. However, security awareness bias still exist in a small number of property services companies  and gaps exist in team-building, institution-construction and  measure-establishing. To raise  safety awareness and enhance rectification on the hidden risks, the three departments notified the five "Housing Estates with Hidden Danger" and urged the residential property to  address the issueand to identify gaps, reversing the passive situation  and effectively curb the incidence of crimes.

The twenty “Safe Housing Estates” are residential areas of Jinxiuhuafu, Dushijiayuan, the comprehensive building of the Three Gorges Construction Bank, Xinwaitan, Dongchen No.2, Langqiaoshui’an, Huaxiang Century City, Panshanlinyu, Jinguihuating, Xingrun Xiangxijun, Xingheshui’an, Huaqiao Villa, Qingjiangrunyuan, Lingxiuzhijiang and 5710 Living District .

The five “Housing Estates with Hidden Danger”are residential areas of Jiangshanjingyuan(A Zone), No1Dongchen Fengjingon Zhongnan Road, Hongqiao International, Yungejiayuan and Bishuilinyin.  (Reporter: Chen Lu; Correspondent: Tan Yong)
