On 9th April, the Three Gorges International Airport opened the first flight from Daegu, South Korea to Yichang, China. 35 South Korean local travel agencies, along with other passengers, took the fight to Yichang to investigate the city’s tourism resources for the further promotion for Yichang as well as its surroundings tourism markets.

The inaugural Daegu Flight was executed by Dulwich Airline Company, South Korea according to the Three Gorges International Airport. The flight TW9433 from Daegu to Yichang departed at 15:05 and landed at 18:05. And the departure time of Yichang-Daegu Flight TW9434 was 18:55 and arrival time was 21:35, with 100% load attendance for the two-way flights.

Taegu, located in the southeast of South Korea, is the capital city of Gyeongsangbuk-do. Meanwhile Daegu, the third largest city of South Korea and a city with beautiful scenery, is the hometown of the South Korean President Park Geun-hye.
