The new campuses of No.1 Middle School of Yichang and Yiling Middle School will be put into use in September 1, and currently the construction of that project entered into the stage of Crucial Hundred Days Countdown. To ensure the enrollment of freshman on schedule, Municipal Construction Committee organized the Promotion Conference on "two schools construction" and Oath-taking Rally for sounding the bugle call of "fighting 100 days to embrace the new school year" yesterday.

The Municipal Construction Committee officially undertook the building task of two schools at the end of June, 2014. Wu Gang, the director of Municipal Construction Committee, said that at present, the construction of 27 single buildings of the first phrase have started, of which 26 single buildings will be fully capped in early May, and the corresponding decoration, establishment of green landscape and green building demonstration as well as other projects will be launched simultaneously.

As the core project to create "the Learning-Suitable City" and to promote the construction of the New District, the new campus construction of No.1 Middle School and Yiling Middle School gained high attention from all works of life. Li Xiangdong, the deputy director of Promotion Office of New District in Yichang, said at the meeting that the two schools construction was a urgent and difficult task, so we should try our best to do it and ensure the quality of construction. At the same time, we should ensure the related support functions such as roads, water and gas supply and public transport so that students can attend class, eat, bathe and exercise at the new campus on September 1st.  (Reporter Chen Cheng, Correspondent Xiang Daiqin)
