Jointly Supervision on Imported Frozen Food
2016-05-26 09:36:04

The first batch of imported frozen food in Yichang Port was inspected by both Yichang Customs and Yichang Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.

This batch of frozen carp was imported from the United States by a food processing enterprise, amounted 70 tons and valued at US$ 30,000. In recent years, Yichang Customs and Yichang Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau made faster steps to promote "Three Ones" process of customs inspection cooperation. Through information sharing, law enforcement mutual help and one-station inspection, inspection time and open box costs of companies have been saved, and clearance time of import and export cargo has been improved. The first imported frozen food also enriched the types of import and export goods in Yichang. (Reporter Wang Suzhi, Correspondents Han Jinlong, Yu Xin, Wang Ling)
