During the investigation, the delegation commended the very Market as a “China’s business card”. While Yichang needs to accelerate its transformation of development mode, improve its development environment and deeply promote public entrepreneurship and innovation.
Yiwu Port, adjacent to the Trade City, is an important basis for the construction of Zhejiang customs clearance and has become an inland waterless port of one-time procedure for customs and commodity inspection. Located in Inland Port New Area, the Townhouses 8 well-known express enterprises, including China Post, EMS, SF Express, TTK Express and “3 Tong and 1 Da”(YTO Express, STO Express, ZTO Express and YUNDA Express). The delegation believed Yichang should continually expand the scope of opening up and accelerate the construction of logistics informatization; and it is necessary to encourage traditional enterprises’ transition to "Internet +" model, thus further releasing development vigor.
Located in Jiangdong Street, Yiwu, the Village enjoys a reputation of “China’s No.1 onlineshop”. There are 1,723 people recorded and 3,200 e-commence shops of 17,000 employees here. Last year, the Village’s online transactions amounted to 4.5 billion yuan, with daily average issuing of 100,000. At the signing ceremony, Ma said Yiwu, having been adhering to the strategy of “prospering the city by propelling e-commerce” for many years, has charted out a developing road of its own characteristics and served as a model of China's reform and opening up. As the market leader in Chinesecommodity trade circulation, the Grouphas carried out the strategy of “data + finance + trade” which can promote market’s role in linking import and export trade and integrating online-and-offline services of supply and trade chain, and it has gained a lot.As a provincial sub-central city, Yichangis also the important spot linking the Yangtze River Economic Belt and “the Belt and Road” Initiative. Presently, it is seizing the significant national strategic opportunity to accelerate the development of e-commerce, logistics and other modern service industries. Now we have witnessed Yiwu and Yichang’s collaboration, with Yichang as the center and Yiwu’s brand influence, resources and experience as basis, will jointly build the Three Gorges Distribution Center of Yiwu Small Commodity City and regional distribution centers, and will construct e-commerce industry belts and incubator industrial bases in the Three Gorges area.
