The Three Gorges Modern Logistic Center program covers a construction area of about 1.42 square kilometers with an estimated investment about 3 billion yuan. It consists of Baiyang Logistics Park, operation zone of the Baiyang Port, transportation infrastructure, Modern Three Georges Logistics Information Center, etc. The construction period of this program is from 2016 to 2020.

Up to now, this program has gone through the World Bank’s inspections in pre-identification, identification, preparation group as well as economic and financial assessment. The approval work of domestic special reports has been fully completed.

Kyle Peters and his group inspected the construction condition about the Baiyang Port and got to know the program planning, development prospect and so on. He deemed that this program enjoyed a promising development due to its convenient transportation and great regional advantages.
