　　It is reported on August 21st that the construction and management leading group of the National Ministry of Water Resources Water Conservancy Scenic Areas has reviewed and voted the sixteenth batches of 59 National Water Conservancy Scenic Areas, among which three Water Conservancy Scenic Areas of Hubei province are selected, including Yichang Bailihuang Water Conservancy Scenic Area.
　　It is known that Water Conservancy Scenic Areas are scenic resources and ecological environments which are based on water and water conservancy projects. Bailihuang Scenic Area enjoys the fame for “the alpine grassland scenery, pure and sacred love place, as well as the summer resort and paradise for preserving health”. This Scenic Area draws up a tourism development planning and soil, and water conservation implementation project from a high starting point, thus creating a type of water conservancy scenic area which conserves water and prevents soil erosion.
