On September 2nd, reporters informed from 2016 Asian tourism industry annual meeting held in Pudong, Shanghai that the Three Gorges Waterfall Tourist Site won the “most popular scenic spot” award of Asian Red Coral in 2016, the only scenic spot winning the award in Hubei province.

　　The evaluation lasted several months. Firstly, professional data agencies collected data based on consumers’ experience and comment from mainstream network platform and publicized a short list to go through the online public voting and evaluations conducted by 20 authoritative judges from the tourism industry, research institutions, investment institutions and senior media. Through fierce competition, the Three Gorges Waterfall Tourist Site stood out from hundreds of candidates and won the award with its natural oxygen bar and other characteristic scenic elements.

　　In addition, on September 1st, during the network selection of “2016 Top 10 Summer Resorts in Central Area” which jointly organized by China Travel Network Media and news portals of Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi provinces, the Three Gorges Waterfall Tourist Site was selected as "the Best Summer Resort ".
