According to the preliminary statistics, there are more than 3600 leisure agriculture enterprises and cooperatives, of which 170 agricultural tourism picking parks, 90 agricultural science and technology parks, 340 leisure farms and 3000 happy farmhouses. The 42,000 employees (including 33,000 rural migrant workers) whose average salary per year reached 2,998 US dollars, received 15,000,000 tourists throughout the year. The tourist revenue reached 0.1499 billion dollars business income. Currently, there are one National Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Demonstration County - Yuan An County, one National Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Demonstration Spot- Zhijiang Anfu Temple Peach Scenic Spot, nine Provincial Leisure Agriculture Demonstration Sites and 41 Municipal Leisure Agriculture Demonstration Sites. The good pattern of "wide coverage, quality improvement, diverse characters and rapid development" have taken place in the whole industry of Yichang, which has become a new model and a new advantage of agricultural rural economic development.
