　　The total retail sales of consumer goods from January to June reached ?58.125 billion, with an increase of 13.1% compared with the previous year, ranking No. 2 in Hubei Province with 1.7% higher than the average. The news was released at the press conference of the first-half-year business and economic operation condition held by the Municipal Commercial Affairs Bureau.
　　It’s said that the total exports reached ? 7.6 billion, rising 1% on a year-on-year basis and ranking No.2 at the provincial level. As for the utilization of foreign capital, there were 10 new foreign-funded enterprises with a year-on-year growth of 400%; the contractual foreign investment reached $369.44 million, increasing by 90.32% on a year-on-year basis; the foreign investment in actual use amounted to $203.41 million with a year-on-year growth of 7.4%, which completed 52.16% of the whole-year goal. With respect to the water carriage port, the total volume of goods for imports and exports achieved 12.848 million tons, rising by 3.2% on a year-on-year basis. The container of import and export reached 70,000 TEUs from January to June, increasing by 18.6% compared with last year. For aviation port, the Three Gorges Airport had flown 100 chartered airlines from Yichang to the South Korea, transporting 15,595 entry-exit passengers, among whom 9,172 foreigners and 6,423 Yichang and inland residents enjoyed non-stop flights of chartered airlines.
　　In the first half of this year, we took effective measures to advance the inland trade and prioritized the business affairs aiming to improve people’s livelihood; we vigorously supported the export-oriented economy and strived for a new breakthrough in the foreign trade export; we accelerated the development of E-commerce and promoted its course of transformation and upgrading. Through holding the first session of E-commerce Resource Joint Meeting and organizing E-commerce enterprises to participate in Wuhan International E-commerce Expo, we established connections with those famous E-commerce enterprises such as Alibaba, Jingdong and Suning, setting up a platform for the development of Yichang’s E-commerce; we adhered to the policy of opening to the inland and implemented the new measures of accelerating development by further opening-up. In other aspects, the Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center officially passed the pre-inspection stage; the application for Hubei Free Trade Zone (Yichang) was under way; the construction of exhibition platform was smoothly progressed; new international routes were open; the establishment of the port “single window” was sped up.
