　　On August 8th, our reporter learned from the news conference based on Yichang City Traffic Development during Thirteenth-Five Year Period that, during the Thirteenth- Five-Year Period, Yichang will invest 235 billion to comprehensively construct national major regional integrated transportation hub and basically establish Three Gorges Shipping Logistics Center, the Middle and Upper Stream Tourism Collecting and Distribution Center, Middle and Upper Stream Modern Logistics Center, Hubei Important Urban and Rural Transportation Balance Demonstration Area, Hubei Important Integrated Transport Reform Demonstration Area.
 According to the plan, Yichang will focus on improving comprehensive transportation system and enhancing security via the coordinated infrastructure development of highway, railway, waterway and airway and continually promoting interconnection of transportation in Yichang. More attention has been paid to establish seven projects according to the Thirteenth- Five-Year Planning: Highway network improvement project, that is, the construction of scheduled 496 kilometers highways( with a final target mileage of 830 kilometers); upgrading project of ordinary roadways including 500 kilometers first-class highways and 800 kilometers secondary-class roads; well-planned poverty alleviation projects benefiting people including the 600 kilometers county and town-level highways and 6000 kilometers village roads; the transforming and upgrading projects of Three Gorges Hub including 29 harbor projects and the renovation of 218 kilometers tributary channels; the coordinated development project of station main hub including 15 different-leveled passenger transport stations and 22 logistics stations; the networking and connecting project of railway main artery including scheduled 639 kilometers railway( with an increase of 414 kilometers railway operation mileage as its final target); the expanding and encryption project of aviation network, which aims to speed up the implementation of the extension project of the three gorges airport and upgrade the flight zone grade to 4E. Finally the passenger throughput will reach 3 million tourists per year by the end of Thirteenth-Five-Year Period. We will improve the development of general aviation industry in Yichang, the layout and planning of general airport to form the overall pattern of general aviation of “ one near point, one farther point, two centers; five fields, four points, municipal layouts”.   
　　It’s estimated that by 2020, the comprehensive passenger transport capacity in Yichang will reach 0.16 billion with the comprehensive volume of freight transport capacity of 0.3 billion tons and the total throughput of the Three Gorges hub port will reach 0.12 billion tons.
