It’s reported on September 8th that Wuhan Railway Bureau, in a document “On Reply to Hubei Three Gorges Modern Logistics Co., Ltd. to Undertake the Project of Special Railway”, has officially approved the connection of the Special Railway for Cargo Evacuation from the Logistics Industrial Park Over Three Gorges Dam in Zigui County to the Yi-Wan Line at Yichang South Railway Station.
This special railway starts from Maopinggang, passes through Jiuli and connects Yi-wan Railway at Yichang South Railway Station (Dianjun District) with a full length of 39 kilometers.
It is reported that the Special Railway for Cargo Evacuation from Logistics Industrial Park Over Three Gorges Dam will become an important passage for Zigui County and Three Gorges Area to link with the outside world and will also play a major role in promoting the economy there.
