(Reporter Ye Xiaomei)The 16th Chinese Pingyao International Photography Exhibition will be held in ancient town Pingyao from September 19th to 25th, and the exhibited works are divided into invitational and application exhibition. Yesterday the reporters learned that Yichang has been invited to attend the exhibition for the first time and our exhibited works mainly reflect the typical scenery of the Three Gorges Reservoir area.

　　The exhibition theme, “ Three Gorges, Three Gorges”, has been made for this exhibition in Pingyao. Over 400 photography works provided by 25 photographers of Yichang reflect the scenery change in the Three Gorges Reservoir area since 1960s. Those works will be exhibited in the main exhibition area of Pingyao. We are informed that the largest scale exhibition works of the Three Gorges Reservoir will be presented to the audience with the largest number of photos for the first time. Social documentary, news, artistic concept and other diversified techniques of expression are completely displayed in those exhibition works.
