According to the cooperation framework agreement signed by Yichang government with China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) on Oct. 27th, during the period of the 13th Five-Year Plan, CTG will invest, in direct and promoting ways, 40 billion yuan in the acceleration of Yichang’s economic and social development.
According to the agreement, CTG will develop substantive cooperation with Yichang in the fields of cultural tourism, energy exploitation, modern logistics, and targeted poverty alleviation etc. To be specific, the agreement includes continually pushing forward the construction of modern logistics platform, actively expanding the business of Three Gorges Electric Power Company and striving to put the power into practice in Yichang from Three Gorges Electric Power Company and Gezhouba Hydropower Station, supporting the big data to be used in Yichang, encouraging Hubei Energy Group Co.,Ltd to increase investment in Yichang, helping Yichang to carry out targeted poverty alleviation, taking part in the infrastructure construction in Yichang and overall development and construction of tourism in the area of Three Gorges Dam, and continuing to promote generator expansion program of Gezhouba Water Conservancy Project.
